Schedule:  INTERMEDIATE LEVEL. Tuesdays and Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

ADVANCED LEVEL. Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm

Starting dates 2011: September 26 ( Advanced Level), September 27 (Intermediate  Level),  October 24 ( Advanced Level), October 25 (Intermediate  Level), and November 21(Advanced Level), November 22 (Intermediate Level)

 

SOL Y FIESTA: Spanish for travellers

Objective: To provide participants with key phrases and vocabulary in Spanish language for traveling purposes as well as to provide them with basic information about specific Latin countries such as Cuba, Dominican Republic and Mexico.

Schedule: Mondays  from 6:00 to 8:30 pm

Starting dates 2011: September 26, October 24 and November 21

Nora Edith Guel Mendez is a native language instructor born in Mexico City. Nora earned a bachelor’s degree in Language Teaching from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She taught English as a foreign language in different schools and universities in Mexico. Also, she taught Spanish as a foreign language for Texas A&M University, and designed and delivered the course Mexican Culture aimed to facilitate communication and understanding of Mexican society to visiting students and faculty from Texas A&M University.

 

Vicky Robles is a native language instructor born in Mexico City. Vicky earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). She taught English for business purposes in Montreal for several years, and she has been involved with our school for the last seven years teaching private courses. She also taught Spanish as a foreign language for turists in a private school in Merida, Yucatan Mexico.
